Alpaca Encounter
March 4, 2023: Black Barn Alpaca Farm. We stayed at this farm as a Harvest Host site. Catnip was curious, but Primrose just wanted to go back inside after hanging out for a bit on the back tires. -Lisa

Lake Life
March 2, 2023: Lake Corpus Christi State Park, Texas. I finally have Catnip interested in being outside on a leash. She chases butterflies, watches ants, eats grass and sniffs everything. We found a beautiful CCC pavilion in the park and a cool trail that was built for mountain bikes. -Lisa

Last Night on SPI
Feb. 28, 2023: Leaving South Padre Island tomorrow to make our way to Kansas by March 17. We still have a Volta power system issue in that we can’t use shore power to run anything or charge the system. When the batteries get low, we have to go for a drive. Not a problem as…

Together Again
Feb. 25, 2023: Isla Blanca County Park, SPI, Texas. Reunited and it feels so good!!! We spent yesterday trying to find a belt for Usain ourselves while Mercedes and Winnebago also continued to do the same. Mercedes found one late yesterday and it fit! Now we have one to return to Napa at some point…

End of the Road
Feb. 20-24, 2023: Back to SPI to stay at the Ramada Inn while the van gets fixed. We drove to the end of the island road and walked on the undeveloped beach there. A nice couple from Iowa gave us a shell necklace – their way of spreading cheer and kindness:) -Lisa

Feb. 22, 2023: SPI, Texas. We played on the beach and then used the really warm swimming pool at the Ramada Inn. Primrose found her favorite napping spot. -Lisa
