Our two adventure cats, Primrose and Catnip, started traveling with us at the end of December 2022. They joined us on our first snowbird trip to South Padre Island and lived in Usain for 3 months. They then accompanied us on our Salt Lake trip and will likely be with us on all our travels from here on out.

Hello, my name is Primrose and my sister is Catnip. Our humans bought this van and then, without our approvals, decided to take us on trips with them. We is HOUSE cats and we loves booping the windows as we watches stuff outside like birds (we chatters at them) and dogs (we growls at them).
We cry when we gets outside, though, ‘cause it’s not safe and we is scaredy cats. Our humans spent weeks letting us explore all over the van. Now our fur is everywheres and we is okay with it, but we still hates movement. We tries to be brave, but we likes it best when we are closed in our kennel when the van moves. Then we don’ts cry and we naps.

Brave? Ha! I is the brave one! My name is Catnip and I sits by the van door while our smaller human puts a harness and leash on me. That means I gets to go outside and eats grass, and chase birds and butterflies, and smell everything. I loves this unless some stranger human comes along to look at me. I don’t likes that so I sneaks back to the van door. Primrose hides when I does this adventure stuff.
Prim’s favorite place is in the bathroom in back by the litter box. Maybe it reminds her of the basement in our bigger house that never moves where there’s lots of hiding places.

Boths of us loves to lay on the dash and looks out the windows. I even sticks my head out through the screens to get better smells, though our humans don’t like me to do that. We have a dark hiding spot up in the “pizza oven” above where our humans sits when the van moves.
Inside the van, my favorite spot is in MY rug sling that our bigger human puts up each night. That human is slow, but I tries hard to wait until it is hooked up to jumps in. My sister, Primrose, gets to use it later when I decides to leave.

We likes our non-moving house, but we knows our humans misses us if they leaves us there. So we puts up with the van ‘cause we gets all the attention we needs and we makes traveling more fun for our humans! Thanks for reading about us!—Primrose & Catnip.
