
The day has come. Usain is all loaded for its maiden voyage to Colorado. Looks to be a beautiful travel day.

The first night of our maiden voyage is at Ft. Kearny State Recreational Park. Quiet, shady campground with a lovely bike trail that we rode to the Archway over I-80.

On June 5, my father, brother, sister-in-law and Tony took a lovely hike to Red Mountain, north of Ft. Collins. This is was one of my mother’s favorite places to hike near home, and we released her ashes in a wash here so she can become part of this beautiful place.

We traveled up the Poudre River canyon to a campsite that was very beautiful where the river could lull you to sleep and no phone or internet service for miles. New to us at this site — Kelly Flats Campground — bear boxes for your food. P.S. We didn’t see any bears.
