Needing to make some phone calls, we left the Poudre canyon area where there was no cell service and headed north to Wyoming to Curt Gowdy State Park. There are rock piles on every hilltop in this part of the state—very cool. We hiked part of the mountain bike trail (you can see me pointing to the van, sort of, from the trail in one picture), and Tony waited patiently while I took pictures of plants—always a botany teacher? The next morning, we hiked up to see the Hidden Falls. We had to kick off our shoes and tromp through some cold water to find the falls and met a young moose, at a distance, on our way down.
