I found just what I was looking for at Harbor Freight. It’s advertised as a personal gun safe, but it’s not gun specific and just the right size to fit under the co-driver seat. It’s not fireproof but does come with a cord that I bolted to the seat frame. While no safe if criminal-proof, it should prevent a smash-and-grab type of theft.
