We took a break to go to London, which was awesome! We are now back to Van Life and planning more trips. For this outing our ultimate destination is the Loess Hills in Iowa via Nebraska :). After a stop in Iowa for lunch we drove on to Louisville State Recreation Area. It was extremely hot when we arrived to a non-shaded site, so we paid $5 extra to move to some shade so the AC could keep up.

The campground has a floating playground on the lake but we just did some wading in the beach area. Of course, when it’s 99 out then ice cream is in order.

We saw a baby blue jay hopping around the van looking for a handout. Sure hope his parents found him.
