Seul Croix Lighthouse

by

First stop of the day was to see Seul Croix Lighthouse, the last working lighthouse on the north shore of Lake Michigan. We were able to climb the circular stairs and final ladder to the very top. Very cool! We briefly went down to the water but soon found ourselves in a horde of flies so we quickly made our way back up towards Usain and continued on our way.

After crossing the Mackinac Bridge (high winds), Bay City State Park in Michigan was our home for the night. We swam at the beach (Saginaw Bay, Lake Huron) and found a beautiful river walk in the town of Bay City for our time the next morning before leaving the area.

The end of the day found us finishing off the pie from our Harvest Host while I beat Tony at cribbage.
