Grand Canyon of the East

by

Letchworth State Park was recommended by a couple we met in Ft. Niagara State Park (Tony gave him a tour of Usain) who said it was their favorite in New York. It has a big canyon with two beautiful waterfalls to view and lots of hiking trails.

There isn’t as much water in the Genesee River as there is in Niagara, but these falls are beautiful, easier to see (less mist getting in the way) and make a lovely sight on a hike along the rim of the “Grand Canyon of the East” as they like to call this one.
