Arches National Park – Day #2

by

We went back to Arches today, to do a long trail in Devil’s Garden. We parked at the Fiery Furnace so Tony could take a meeting. You have to get a special pass or walk with a ranger here. I’m sure it is very beautiful near sunset with the full sunshine on these red rocks. No sun today, and there is light rain.

Devil’s Garden is full of arches and interesting rock formations. The Landscape Arch in the third picture is no longer open to walk under after a big chunk of it fell years ago.

Tony sees a ”submarine” rock and a series of ”star destroyer” rocks. The rain made for deeper puddles to avoid and slick rocks to climb today.
