We left Utah on a windy canyon and mountain forest road with lots of “wiggle waggles” that was fun to drive. Through Harvest Host, we spent the night at the Yellow Car Country Wines in Cortez, Colorado. Their drink menu is extensive, and we enjoyed flights, glasses of our favorites, and a cheese plate. We also got to sample grapes fresh off the vine as it had just been picking day at a vineyard down the road. This family-run business provided a delightful evening! Our hosts were so kind and attentive, and their dog, Chloe, kept the ravens away.
