We spent the night in the parking lot of the Mid-American Air Museum in Liberal, Kansas (a Harvest Host) and walked through exhibits in the morning. I spent extra time reading the wonderful summaries written by a Liberal High School and KSU grad while Tony put in some hours working.

The first plane pictured below folded up so nicely. The green one is a crop duster designed by a Montana family to handle mountains and valleys and it’s claim to fame is being flown when the first UFO sighting was reported and the term UFO coined. The third one had a donkey incident on the runway in Central America that the company used in advertising to show how sturdy and tough it is. The last one is the fastest plane in the museum. Pilots were advised that the best way to get one was to buy a farm and wait for one to crash there, as crashes were inevitable. We traveled on to Kingsley, Kansas for the night at the 4 Aces RV park.
