Dec. 29, 2022: Von Ormy, Texas: Medina River Natural Area. Our RV site is near a natural area, but the roads between here and there are under construction so we took the van rather than the bikes to go on a hike. There are lovely trails, well maintained and marked, along the river which we would call a creek in Iowa. The grass is green and the prickly pear cacti are large and plentiful. Signs warn about snakes and poison ivy. -Lisa
