Jan. 7, 2023: Mustang Island State Park, Texas. The surf was rough again today with the red flag flying. We are seeing some strange things wash up like an onion, a couple of oranges, an avocado and several bunches of broccoli. Are they falling off barges? Picnic lunches gone wrong? Oh, and a couple of puffer fish, as well. And big excitement – we saw at least three dolphins surfacing as they swam along in front of the rock jetties! I think I actually clapped my hands:) -Lisa
