This may have been Usain’s first mod back in May 2022 and it has been one that has proved to be more useful than we had ever imagined. I originally wanted a grab bar in the bathroom in order to assist in getting in Usain’s backdoor. Over time we’ve found that it helps in getting up off of the bathroom throne, especially during the night. We also use it to secure our drying rack, which I’ll mention in one of Usain’s add-ons.

The grab bar was purchased from a local big box store and is bolted on through the wall that separates the wet bath and “garage”. After I shared this mod on the Boldt Owners and Wannabees Facebook group one of the other members said they did the same but inserted a metal plate to help prevent the bolts from pulling through. So far that hasn’t been an issue for us, but I’m keeping an eye on it. Another poster purchased an additional RAM Track ($) in this area that can also serve as a handle.

This mod, or something similar, should have come standard in our opinion.
