Hot Springs National Park

by

This is a different national park. We parked on a city street to walk to the headquarters which are in a historic-bathhouse-now-museum. We were amused by the “workout” clothes people wore a century ago. How can you hike in a corset??? The bathhouses fell out of favor in the 50s when antibiotics became a better way to cure ailments that had been treated with weeks of hot water soaks. We hiked the mostly uphill tower trail to the Hot Springs Mountain Tower with 30+miles of panoramic view.
