Morning Hike on the Yellow Rock Trail

by

We did a 3-mile hike that I warned Tony would be more like 5 miles from our campsite and turned out to be almost 6 miles this morning. This is another popular trail at Devil’s Den State Park, AR, and it has a beautiful lookout and a CCC built shelter at the end.

What a view!

Your Great Uncle Richard worked on ‘some’ CCC projects somewhere…. I’m not a fountain of info on that. Wish I knew more; my interest came too late. Hugd

    1. That is really cool to know! I asked Tony if he knew of any of his relatives that did CCC and he said no. It sounds like such a great program for our country at the time, and we are still using what they built with such hard work and effort!
