Today was our nephew Alistair’s big day in Wyoming. We attended his graduation ceremony in the morning with our wonderful driver, Thomas, who just finished finals in time to join in the family fun. Then we enjoyed lunch at one of Alistair’s favorite spots, Sweet Melissa, which is a wonderful, totally vegetarian restaurant the has been there for 20+ years right there in cattle country. It was so hard to choose, and I loved the crabless cake and lentil loaf with sweet potatoes! Alistair has had a wonderful time at the University of Wyoming, including a study abroad semester in Rome. We look forward to seeing where his art takes him next!

Meanwhile, Catnip and Primrose are adjusting to being in Dad’s house. We have closed off the master suite and home office to protect the power cords and plants. So far, that seems to be working.
