We had a dry afternoon after the rains to get out and take a hike up to Coyote Ridge which is just down the road from Dad’s house and is part of Ft. Collins’ trail system. The groundhogs are pretty used to people here, and are so very cute to watch. We also had a Western Meadowlark follow us for a bit and they are much more yellow than the Eastern ones we see in Iowa.
