To convert Usain’s twin beds to a full bed requires pulling out a center connection piece. One common issue of the Boldt is having this center section collapse, so the solution typically involves adding reinforcement bolts. We never experienced a collapse, but not wanting to take our chances we did the reinforcement ourselves. I just involved drilling a few holes and inserting some bolts.
