We initially added some cameras to Usain for security purposes in order to keep a watch on it while we’re out hiking or doing other things away from the vans. But now that we’re traveling with cats we’re really glad with have them in order to monitor them while we’re away.

We use a variety of Google Nest cams at home, but chose to go with Blink cameras on Usain primarily due to the price difference. They don’t have all the features but they were quite a bit cheaper and serve our needs. The bundle we have includes 2 battery-operated outdoor cameras, 2 battery-operated indoor cameras, 1 mini camera, and 1 pan-and-tilt camera. I glued magnets on the back of the outdoor cameras so I can attach them to the metal RAM track basket while used indoors or attached to the outside of the van when needed.
