About a year ago we purchased a small Shark vacuum cleaner for Usain (see Vacuum Cleaner Add-on). While it works surprisingly well, it in no way compares to our Dyson v11 that we use at home — especially with two cats that are constantly shedding. I had been struggling to come up with a way to take our Dyson along with us and finally came up with a solution.

We purchased a storage drawer at Menards that is the perfect size to hold the vac and all of the attachments. This was truly a win-win as now the 5-gallon drinking water dispenser is more elevated and easier to access.

To keep everything from sliding around while traveling I put a single screw through the the drawer frame and into the kitchen cabinet. I then used a couple of shelving brackets with removable pins inserted to keep the storage tub in place.

The only downside is that our small cabin trashcan (see Cabin Trashcan Add-on) had to be relocated, but found a new home attached to the fold-down table behind the passenger seat.
