We are on the road again! Heading north for a Montana-Idaho-Utah loop to see some national and state parks.
First stop is in Minnesota at a town park in Worthington that has campsites right along the lake. It’s always nice to discover these little town or county parks. There are plenty of spaces empty tonight, but not so for the rest of the Labor Day weekend. Looks like lots of people are coming out for that last hurrah of summer.
For lunch, we stopped in Lake Park, on the shores of Silver Lake in Iowa to eat at their very nice city park. We tried out various playground equipment (where we could fit) but didn’t manage any pictures of that. I love making our own lunches and eating at local parks along the route.

We were able to get in a nice evening walk along a trail at the edge of the campground that wanders through neighborhoods and many small parks. One short section was closed as seen in the pictures—yikes!
