The city of Puerto Vallarta had a pretty park to welcome us to shore.

Our port time was shortened a bit from the tender delay problem yesterday evening, so Tony and I decided to just walk to a nearby shopping area. We could see a mall and a Sam’s Club a short distance down the road. It’s always fun to walk through a grocery store or a department store in another country just to see how things are different.

We were sailing with three veterans on Veterans Day today. It was nice to see the ship honor their service and sacrifices with decorations and a special display.

Saying, “I can’t take it with me,” Dad splurged on a higher end bottle of wine at supper for us all to enjoy, and Cruise Director Alexis decided we had warm enough nighttime temperatures to have a dance party outside on the pool deck. With our fancy dinners, food available 24-7, and adult beverages at every turn, we needed to dance some of those calories off!
