Not much to blog about for this day since it was primarily a driving day through Missouri as we make our way home. Driving proved tiring for both of us as we battled a strong wind from the west for the 4-hour trip.
We stopped for lunch and a stroll at Indian Camp Creek Park in Charles County. This was after the traffic thinned out as we were routed around St. Louis by our trusty GPS. Even this late in the season, the park was clean and well-kept. It was a sunny day, but we wore sweatshirts as fall temperatures are dropping.

Tonight we stayed at a small campground right off of Highway 61 near New London, Missouri. The Meadow Campground & Coffee House is a perfect spot for a night’s stay. It would be fun to return in warmer weather to kayak from this park. They have a really nice landing on the Salt River and offer kayak excursions.
