We planned to do a bike ride but alas, it was raining. Instead, we went to a winery to wait out the rain—excellent idea. Penn Shore Vineyards was a wonderful wine-tasting place and we took a bottle with us. Grape vines for as far as you could see (like corn and beans in Iowa).

The rain let up, so we headed to Presque Isle State Park for a bike ride around the island. Have to use those bikes off the back of Usain sometimes!

Took some breaks during our ride. Houses on docks rather than houseboats was interesting. And I can’t see a beach without having to tromp through the water.
