Usain came standard with a very nice JBL speaker bar for the TV. However, we did not like where Winnebago chose to install it, which was directly over the passenger side bed. Some Boldt owners have replaced it with a smaller speaker bar attached directly below the TV on the stock mount. I had a different idea.

This was one of my more ambitious mods. I chose to move the existing speaker bar to just below the “pizza oven” toward the front of the van. This required me to drill some holes and reroute the fiber optic audio cable as well as run a power strip up to the pizza oven. Fortunately I was able to use the same mount that was used to attach the speaker to the RAM Track. The end result is better than I expected.

The sound is perfect coming from behind the TV when watching from the beds and when watching TV from the front coach chairs (when swiveled around), the sound comes from directly above. An added bonus is that it frees up the RAM Track above the bed for other uses.
