A second computer monitor is almost a necessity for my part time contracting work. While usable, the stock TV in the Boldt isn’t very good as a monitor. When we started traveling I took along a separate monitor with my laptop, but it was a pain to set up and store in Usain’s tight quarters.
I ended up replacing the stock TV with a 32” TCL 1080p smart TV. It’s very visible whether I’m working from the bed or front seat swiveled around toward the back. A nice side effect is that it’s great for watching TV due to the bigger screen/better picture and I was able to remove the Firestick we had been using for streaming (yay, one less remote).
I was able to use the same mounting bracket, but had to add 2 new pieces to get it low enough to fit under the upper cabinet. The bed frame clears it as long as you pull the TV out some before it’s raised.
