The weather looks dicey in Iowa for this evening and tomorrow so we are keeping our lunch date with Lauren and Bonnie in Ames, then heading to Wallace State Park, MO a day earlier than planned. Our neighbor Chef Lisa (Flavory Bistro in Ankeny) made us a wonderful bon voyage lunch, and we enjoyed a game of What Do You Meme? We are mobile so we head south to miss driving in snow and high winds. We have a nice group phone call with Paul and Roxann, and we both manage to get neighboring campsites for next Jan-Feb on South Padre Island, TX, where we can enjoy the beach and have adventures together. – Lisa
