As you can see from the photo below, Usain’s electronics’ cabinet has several components — Pepwave router, Starlink router, an inverter, etc. — and they can all get pretty warm, especially when the sun is beating down on the top of the van. I found I was opening the door to the cabinet a lot to allow them to get some cooler air.
To solve the ventilation problem I cut holes in the cabinet door and installed a couple of fans and grilles designed for this purpose. It was a bit scary cutting permanent holes into the cabinet door but they turned out great both in function and looks and happy that I no longer have to keep the door open to cool off the equipment.
