When researching RVs I found that RV refrigerators can be fickle. While typical RV refrigerators run off of propane, the Boldt’s is totally electric — runs from AC power when the inverter is on and DC power when the inverter is off. We have found it very dependable and haven’t had an issue but a thermometer kept inside the fridge that provides a temperature history gives us confidence that power was maintained and food didn’t go from cold to hot and back to cold again. Unlike the other Govee thermometer we purchased (see Cabin Thermometer Add-on), our fridge thermometer is WiFi enabled to allow us to monitor it and get alerts even when we’re away from Usain.
