Not far enough north!

by

After Tony’s early morning run, we moved up the road to the Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center to get better cell reception for his work session. I hiked most of the trails at my leisure and took pictures of plants and critters. Tony joined me for a second hike, then we enjoyed lunch here.

We drove into Sioux City to find some flavored Jiffy Pop popcorn. The factory to make the popcorn is here, and there is a smaller factory that has Jiffy Popcorn history and collectibles and sells some interesting flavors. We came away with peaches and cream, chocolate marshmallow, Sioux City 50-50 which is caramel & cheddar, and a sea salt caramel. I’m sure it’s all best fresh, so we will be sure to eat them quickly:).

It’s hot today, and my dad says we should move farther north or head to the mountains to find cool now.
