We took a morning hike trying to find the Lost Lake, but it stayed lost. The trail to Lost Lake was really grassy and overgrown which is not ideal in shorts.

We tried to time it just right so we could get to a big grocery store in the Duluth area before heading up to Herbster, WS to check into an Airbnb at 5:00. I didn’t want to hang out at the Herbster beach if we couldn’t get the food needing refrigeration put away. We arrived in Herbster at 5:05 which was pretty darn close to on-the-spot with Lauren and Bonnie arriving about 15 minutes later. Ryan and Stasia came in time for a taco bar supper all together.
