Hike that Shows Off Jay Cooke State Park

by

We took a six+-mile hike before lunch today. One mile took almost 18 minutes, while another took over 30 minutes. The terrain really varied from flat and grassy to rocks and tree roots on slopes to using rocks and trees to avoid mud pits. It was a lot of fun!

For our evening stroll, we went back over the swinging bridge and did some climbing over rocks along the shore of the river. The water is pretty clear.
