St. Ignace, Michigan

by

While driving through the U.P., we saw a restaurant called U.P. Chuck. You have to have a sense of humor here, especially in the winter! We stopped to stretch our legs at Wagner Falls which has a very short walk from the road. We then stopped at Castle Rock before finding our campsite at Tiki RV park in St. Ignace. Castle Rock is a limestone stack that makes an excellent lookout over the area with views of Lake Huron, St. Ignace, and Mackinac Island. You pay $1 to climb the stairs which are behind the gift shop. It’s just a 15-minute stop.
