Rescued Alligators in the Mangroves

by

After a cold weekend, we had nice weather and took the bus back to the SPI Birding, Nature Center & Alligator Sanctuary that we visited last year. They have lots of boardwalks and critter-viewing areas built out over the mangrove mudflats. We also took pictures from the five-story tall observation tower that gives pretty views all around.

This morning a small group of the Beach Body exercise class missed the posted cancellation due to instructor illness, so we gathered around my phone to play the video our instructor made. We had class without Terri, and it was most definitely not the same quality. Mistakes were made, but we laughed and had a workout anyway.

On my way to this unexpected video exercise class, a Coastguard boat in the channel put on its lights and sounded its sirens to board a shrimp boat that was returning. The spy-in-the-sky Coastguard blimp was airborne and must have spotted something amiss.
