Hoodoo Valley Farm

Our second night was also off-grid in the front lawn of a Boondockers Welcome home just outside of Tower, Minnesota. Our hostess greeted us, showed us where to park and reassured us the barking dog was harmless. Sure enough, he was all bark and no bite, ignoring us once we were parked. On RADAR we watched some storms forming, but only got rain here this evening.

Getting off of I-35 found us driving through the small town of Harris where the fire department was demonstrating a practice burn during their Harris Days celebration.

More Than Sprouts is a wonderful small-town health food store in Pine City. We got sandwiches and other items for a picnic years ago when we stayed in an Airbnb on the lake, and it was fun to stop in again. We lucked into an art festival and book sale in the town park. I am bringing home books that will go into my new Little Free Library in our front yard.
