Fort Collins has a fantastic Farmers Market on Saturday through the summer. Dad and I bought some goodies, including some Bavarian style pretzels from a vendor who explained his quest to make “authentic” pretzels like he enjoyed in Germany. We then dropped off some garden produce and Mitzi’s Flowers from the market to my brother’s house. Arabella was the only one home. She is a music major at CSU and in the Marching Band. It sounds like she really enjoys her time in band and it keeps her busy. They put on a new show each week which is different from high school where you perfect one show.
Tony took a walk in the Cathy Fromme Prairie Natural Area near Dad’s house and observed that the prairie dogs have moved. They used to be on the west end of the prairie, but are now close to the Shields St. side on the east end. They are fun to watch.
JJs Wood Fired Pizza is a walk away, so we met up with Kenny & Susie and the twins for supper. Natasha is also a student at CSU, majoring in horticulture.
