Hotel Centrum in Reykjavik , Hotel Ork in Hveragerdi, Hotel Dyrholaey in Vik, Hotel Hofn in Hofn, Hotel Hallormsstadur in Egilsstadir, Hotel Laxa in Myvatn, Hotel Kea in Akureyri, Hotel Hamar in Borgarnes, then back to Hotel Reykjavik Centrum
Jeni Schrimsher, our travel agent, used Scantours to book our hotels and arrange for the rental car. We spent two nights at the first two hotels on the list, then just one night for the rest of them.
Hotels were similar in room arrangement with beds that could be made into twin singles or one king. The shower was a learning curve for us as the right-side handle sets the temperature you want, and the left side controls water flow. Our first hotel had no markings to clue us in. Every hotel had these with a rain shower head and a side hand-held shower, too. The showers were all zero entry.
Breakfast each morning was a typical European style layout. I had eggs with baked beans each morning, then added fruit, veggies and pastries. I also had whole milk each morning, as that was available for cereal and coffee along with oat, soy, coconut and almond milk, too.

Hotel Centrum had heated tile floors in the bathroom which felt really good on the feet. Only a couple of hotels had washcloths. Several had towel warmers. Hotel Hofn did not have an elevator, but the desk staff took our suitcases up to the third floor for us. Such great service!
Our biggest problem was getting to bed without staying up really late. With the sun not completely setting, it never got dark, and would get late without us realizing it.
