Feb. 9, 2023: Isla Blanca Park, SPI, Texas. Today we parked Usain by the south beach to watch the happenings at SpaceX’s Starbase. I watched dolphins, kayakers, diving pelicans, shrimp boats and pirate ships while waiting to see if the Super Heavy booster for Starship would undergo a static test fire. It did this afternoon. 31 of 33 Raptor engines gave us a brief firey glow followed by quite a roar as we were about five miles away. So cool to see and hear this! -Lisa
