Refrigerator Stability Mod

by

I’ve read about other Boldt owners experiencing their refrigerators pulling away from the cabinet housing. Usain proved to be no exception. It turns out that the entire fridge comes balanced atop a narrow piece of wood at the front edge.

Copying one of the posters in the Boldt Facebook group, I mounted 2 slats from front to back beneath the refrigerator to stabilize it and take the pressure off of the front mounting screws. I then glued on some additional slats on the sides to give the installation screws more wood to grab into. It turned out well and the fridge is easier to pull in and out when needed (hopefully not often) and is a lot more stable.
