When we’re home, our adventure cats have a double decker hammock as part of their living room cat tree. They love it so much I wanted them to have one in Usain. Made from a rug purchased from a big box store with straps that Lisa sewed in, it attaches to hooks I installed in the cabinets. The sling goes up at night and comes down every morning. Catnip has a routine every evening when we’re getting ready for bed. She waits for the hammock to go up and immediately jumps into it. They’ll typically take turns during the night and sometimes we’ve seen them both in it at the same time.

This is an old mod that I did a year ago but I just now got around to documenting it. Here’s an older picture taken just after I installed it to give it a trial run.
