A quick morning walk before leaving Forest Glen Preserve took us to the very green lake and a covered bridge.

Our journey on I-70 today was very hectic. There were miles and miles of construction between Indianapolis, Dayton, and Columbus. It is being made into three lanes each way, which is clearly needed, but the “school zone” speeds and abundance of semi trucks caused travel to be all work and no play. We watched our arrival time get later and later.
Fortunately, a very fine Harvest Host was at our journey’s end for tonight. This cocktail lounge is in the town of Millersport on Buckeye Lake in Ohio. The fried green tomatoes and Bourbon Street Brussels were tasty and the list of possible cocktails lengthy. We would definitely stop here again if we find ourselves on I-70 and need a rest.
