Park City, Utah

by

The end of our third day on the road took us to Park City, Utah. We were here in September 2024 when we toured the Utah Olympic Park and spent a couple of nights on Wasatch Mountain. This time we stayed at a lower altitude and had a nice hike below the Olympic ski jump venue on a trail intended for mountain bikes. The weather was great with the temperatures in the lower 80’s, but only 10% humidity. A nice change from Iowa’s summer weather.

Bear River City

On our way to Park City we stopped in Bear River City, Utah to take a break. We found a nice park to walk around near the river.

Park City RV Resort

We chose to spend the night at the Park City RV Resort mainly out of convenience — it was on our way and had availability for one night. It was right off of noisy I-80, but had a nice stream with wildlife behind the campsites and a nice paved bike path along the highway for my morning run.
